When we speak we add "actions" to them. Therefore no matter waht an face to face conversation is as I feel always better than one one the phone. These actions speaks louder than the words. Some words will also have different meaning when spoken in different tones and under different conditions. At times a complement may not be one to the other. Different people with different backgrounds, different upbringing will have different interpretation of words, saying, actions even hand gestures. Your meaning may therefore not be totally understood by all others...
