Transport's Fair Play

Well well. Now that I am (sort of) in the working class and is taking the public transport everyday to work. Maybe I could just jot down some downs about it.

First you cannot control the time that the bus comes, sometime it comes late at times early. Ok I have to state usually +/- 10mins. Then there is the crowd that no one gives way. Then there are those that block the card scanner, the entrance/exit even the path between the two rows of seat. Then comes those the rush to alight or board not bothering about the safety of others. Like at the train station before those who want to alight can do some many have already rush/dash in. When there is not much space left and people are already standing at the door there will come this person who would push his way in no matter what.

During the trip some will lean against the grab poles. Weird rite? Grab Poles as the name states it we are suppose to grab them not lean on then and disallow others to grab it. Escalators also proved to be another killer point with some users not moving to the left side. Thus disallowing others to move up.

But I must say the most problematic is the "card in big bag therefore scanner cannot detect problem." I believe many of us have came about this problem more than once.

Here before I end I have to stress that the above problems happens only to maybe about 20%? of the total population travelling in public transport.

How to overcome them you might ask yourself (or me). "My sassy colleague" seems to have alot of ideas. But due to copyright laws I am unable to publish them here as I have not yet seek for her permission. (But "My sassy colleague" never reads blogs so even if I publish them here she will never know unless YOU, who is reading this betrays me. but as a good un-sassy colleague I will not do that.) As she may want to publish this into a book next time it is therefore unlikely that it will be granted. But keep your fingers crossed, hope for the best and wait patiently.

I can guarantee you that it will be well worth the wait......
