Why Fear Death?
Death Comes Knocking. A promise that Death made to us the very first day when we are born to this world. An it is a promise that Death plans to keep till the very end. Just last week saw a report on older folks. One of them said that she does not fear death cause it is sure to come therefore why fear something that we cannot prevent? Then there is the Croc guy in a bitter irony death. He who seems always to laugh at Death in the face. He too had too face Death face to face early ths week. Sad to say Death won. As we get older it seems that Death come closer and closer.
Sometimes we are prepared for it arrival at other times we are not. In sickness and in health, Death do we part. The vow so often heard. It seem that Love one of the greatest forces on earth also cannot win Death. For those prepared when their loved one leave them for a "better" place, parting seems so hard, so sad. No matter how well you prepare for the day, it will still hit hard, stabbing only at when it hurts the most. For those unprepared the shock, the hit is worst. Not to forget the aftermath of the event. At times it can rip a family apart. At times it pull it together.
But can we delay it? It seems sometimes Death plays a cruel joke on people. This other guy, he learns that he has cancer of the blood. And is totally depress by it. What do you expect from a young boy? He then battles it for two years only to come out winning the long fought battle. But Death has other plans two months after his discharge. He is knocked down by a car and left this world. Oh fate, some may say. But why? Why? Why must Death play such a bad hand to him?
Death something we cannot avoid, cannot hide, cannot run away from. Only to hope mine hand will not be bad and face it eye to eye.
DEATH you are such a powerful force.
