Milk! To Die For...

.During the weekend got a little "bored" so went out to "jalan" a bit. I was walking in front of the 3 young girls, I should think in upper sec. When they started this conversation.

G1:"How could Gina or how could anyone drink 3 glasses of milk in one seating!"
G2:"Yah! Sounds crazy!"
G1:"Not humanly possible."
G3:"I think it is ok. Just that you will be fat!"
G1:"Now you know why Gina is that size."
G2:"I think I at most can only 'tahan' 1 glass per seating."

The conversation continues but was nothing of interest to me as it let the topic of MILK. Yo! I wanted to give them a wake up call. To me MILK is really the best best best drink ever made by the supreme power. From young I have been drinking it till now. Why cannot drink 3 glasses? Just the other day I drank 830ml of cocoa milk in one seating. Ok. I may be a little over on that part. But sometimes I just get the cravings for MILK without it I might go berserk. Guess I am just a true blue Milk fan. Also one more thing, when they mention drinking milk will make you "fat". I really had a good look at myself but could not see which part that is fat. Oh well I will just leave them and continue to enjoy this wonderful drink.

In other milk related news Cadbury, the world largest confectionery group is have a worldwide recall of 7 of it Dairy Milk Chocolates. As there has been a contamination in its plant in Marlbrook plant in Herefordshire, England. Consuming the food that contained the salmonella bacterium can cause fever, stomach upset and diarrhoea. The redraw of this chocolate is reported to be worth a few million pounds. This leak was discovered in January but was only reported to the Food Standards Agency of Britain only last week. So chocolate lovers becareful. Check the label before you buy to ensure it is from downunder. This msg is esp for you know who.

Rain Rain Go Away...

June! It should be a month of sun, sand and surf. But it has became wet, wetter and wettest. Oh! the monsoon season has gone wrong according to the weatherman. The weak monsoon season winds could not bring the clouds away and therefore rain rain rain. Which spoils mine day BIG time as I need to go out. Wearing a raincoat or seeking shether under and umbrella or building and waiting for the rain to stop is not mine idea of fun. Yes! Rainning days are good when you are about to sleep but not when you are just about to leave the house. Argh! It has been like this for the pass two weeks or so. And the weatherman say that it will continue to be like that for the next two week. There goes mine fun outing under the sun...

Also to mention there is a newcommer to the list "purple" who zoom passed twice in a day. Then today was pink's turn again up and down it went.

Predictions

Economists at UBS, ABN Amro and Goldman Sachs have used their statisticals tools of finance to predict that this year's world cup winners. The outcome? Either Brazil or Italy. How do u feel about it? Ok I guess cause well I do not know the game really well.

Last week I was surfing the web and I went to the Microsoft website, I download the flash preview of Office 2007. Wah... Really impressive man. The tools are so much more accessable. All changes are generated in runtime. If I am not wrong it is dub as Office Live. Think it will be a "bit" more processer dependent cause the need to be "Live" showing all the changes as you select them. Also in the making are MSN versions of Apple's popular iTunes and iPods. Seeing a shift in the company? This two latest project will be overseen by Mr Robbie Bach who also headed the successful Xbox. He is to take over from Bill Gates as the president of the company's entertainment division. While Mr Steven Ballmer will take over from Gates as chief executive. Mr Ray Ozzie will then fill in form Baller as chief software architect. With all these changes to the software giant company on can only predict it's future. Will it continue to dominate the industry?

To some comic fans this week may have been the worst week cause Spiderman has took off his mask in public. Yes! In the Marvel comic book about Civil War. The story is about the U.S. government wanting to put forward a Superhuman Registration Act, where they will have to register themselves. Ironman is for the idea while Captain America is against it in defense of heroes' right to privacy. To show his support for Ironman and other reasons Spider-Man made the very difficult decision to reveal his identity to the world during a press conference. Fans are up in arms. Or should I say some of them. As the fans are divided into two camps. Just like the comic heros themselves.

I have a toothache. Wanted to see the denist but it was fully book. I guess I will just have to bare with the pain till next Sat when finally I can see him or her...

Six Hits Winner?

For this summer blockbuster season, Pixar has released Cars. To me, they have done it again. Their six hit wonder. From Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Incredibles and now Cars. Each one is a winner in it's own aspect. The amount of details given to Cars is unbelievable. The dust, the smoke, sand, rust etc all done so well. But I agreed that for Cars it is a bit lacking in the form of the storyline. A tad off the scales set by the previous movies. The Cars storyline is a little weak compared to like Nemo but it will to ring in at the cashiers. Is is weakness due to the buy over by Disney? Aiming to be a "family themed" movie company/studio? But not to forget the "little" short clips that are always shown before each animated feature are also very pleasent to watch this time it was the "One Man Band". Next up? In 2007 Pixar after being taken over by Disney will have a movie on mouse or mice I am not too sure which kind but they are living in paris, france. So do look out for it, Ratatuille. It will be directed by Brad Bird, the guy who brought you The Incredibles. I little dissappointed with Cars but I am sure to support Pixar all the way. If you have not seen the trailer for Ratatuille you must do it now. There is only one word for it "AWESOME".

Green was pleasing the winner yesterday. While white ruled supreme today.

Fusball

The game has finally begun. I actually wanted to watch the opening match between Germany and Costa Rica, but could not keep myself awake till that time to watch it. Guess I am just not a full-blood fusball fan.

Last post forgot to add that LV Sands won the bid for the casino at Marina. Now the heat has shifted over to Sentosa. I did not know that the IR on the resort island will be build on the land where the Musical Fountain now stands. What no more Musical Fountain?!?! Yup....no more. It will be replaced by another show that is on the water too at the beach. Maybe I should really pay the resort island a visit one of these days...Erm...I think I will keep that visit till after the IR is ready.

3 more days to the World Cup. Not that I want to watch but more of whether CAN i watch it a not. Without SCV only 4 matchs are free to air. So I will just have to make do with it, I guess.

These few days is often a battle between green and white with pink coming in sometimes. Also the grey husky came knocking on the brown cat's door. As the cat ponders on what the husky has said he will also have to move forward.
