I Spy 2 (Disaster Strikes)

I was there again on the third level of "this" building, when I saw a lady with her "ah boy". They standing side by side going down the escalator as I also saw a "need" to be at level one. I went to take mine place behind them. The guy was wear this brownish cotton jacket and a light blue jeans that has this oold faded look. He was also wearing a light brown cap. In his left hand was a motorbike helmet. As for his looks erm..I did not bother (you will know why later.) The lady was also wearing a light blue jeans with a pair of nike shoes. Her light golden brown shoulder length hair was a bit wavy at the ends. She was also wearing this small jacket that only covers her shoulders but not her tummy area. (Those really really small and short ones. Her looks? Read on...) In her right arm is a big army green bag. His right hands was at first on her shoulder but moved to her small waist. Her left hand was in his back right pocket. Ok.... as we were about to reach level 1 from level 3......she suddeny turned to peck him on his cheek. I was stunned for a moment. The "she" is a he!!! Opps! I think I need to get a new pair of specs.

IT Savvy (Men's Stuff ++)

Today even before I flip open the free TODAY newspaper, on the cover is the big ad of Creative that runs for two pages each the size of an A3 paper. They are having a warehouse sale! The stuff are really dirt cheap! Like Zen Neeon 6GB for only S$339, MuVo S200 at S$199, ZEN Vision:M 30GB for S$599 and many many more offers. Also early birds to the three day(17th - 19th) get about $100 offer some items. Not to forget members (which includes ME!) get another 5%-10% off. What a great deal. I am definitely going tomorrow. But there is only one (BIG)problem. That is I have no money! Sian... But will still go look see look see.

Another BIG ad (A1 size and in full colour to show it glory) that caught mine attention was the ad for Xbox 360. It is officially hits all leading alternates stores today. At a RRP of S$660 which includes the console, 20GB harddisk, wireless control, Xbox live headset, AV cable and Ethernet cable. The best thing? It is in sleek white. So pure and beautiful. I want ONE! Problem here? No money...

Over on the other side of the world, Sony has delayed the launch of PS3 by 6 months till Nov. Sony had at first planed a simultaneous global launch. This delay is due to the copyright protection of Blu-ray Disc technology that is used in the console with the aim of making it a home entertainment centre. This technology is expected to have a much greater storage capacity than the rival format HD DVD. This delay allows Microsoft to consolidate an early lead in the fifth generation game consoles. Will this allow Microsoft to take over the lead from Sony in the home console gaming world? Well we will have to wait an see...

In other News
The author of the story which inspired the movie Brokeback Mountain, Annie Proulx had hit back at the Oscar voters with a article in Saturday's issue of The Guardian. She said the voters were "out of touch". She also lashed out at Liongate the distribution company behind Crash. She also said " DVD copies of Trash-excuse me, Crash". Way to go man (or woman in this case. I LOVED Brokeback! I also think that it was a great SHOCK that Crash should win over Brokeback. Crash was a good movie but Brokeback was just way way better. Anyway that how I feel. And it is all over. We can't turn the clock back, can we?

Well well how can I forget the girls? Later get bash up. So here is a bit informal news for the ladies (esp. Miss Von Von and Miss Min Min (who are always looking out for hot hunks or other eye-candy bods). On 7 Oct on Sunny Island, the first-ever Mister International will be held. There will be contestants from over 35 countries. So they can come to feast their eyes on some buffed up good looking males. While on this topic they will be happy to know that Manhunt International 2006 will be held on 20th April in Jin Jiang in China's Fujian province while Mr World 2006 will hole their finals on 9th Dec in Sanya in Hainan. So now you gals will book your air tickets early in order not to get disappointed. And so ladies please enjoy your buffet of hot pump up males that is coming up. While guys that are not so good looking or not so beefed up male can just weep over how come they do not have such muscular bods or chiseled good looks in green envy. Or they can bond together with the female to enjoy the show drooling over the hot torsos. Last but definitely not the least the males have now three shows to strut their stuff.

Opps I did It again!

Out of mine 20++ years on the earth this is only the second time I did it. Why did I do it? All because of you. May the gods have pity on me and forgive me. But if time could turn back, I would still have done it for you and only you. Did not regret it at all if that is what you want to know. But will you even know that I did it for you? I think not.

Sex Sells?

Today I went for the IT SHOW 2006 which is form 9th-12th March at Suntec City Exhibition Centre Level 3, 4 & 6. Really a huge fair. It brings together the hottest technologies in computing and digital entertainment. There were (in no particular order) XBox360, Creative(which also opened it's world first concept stall at Marina Square yesterday), Fujitsu, Logitech, Nikon, BenQ, Altec Lansing, Sennheiser, Acer, HP, Dell, Mac, Lenovo, PenDrive, Canon, Brother, Sony, Olympus, Belkin, Kodak, Kingston, Maxtor, OKI, Philips, Samsung, Panasonic, Lexmark, Fuji Xerox, Linksys, Fujifilm, LG, Toshiba, NEC, SanDisk, Casio, Palm, Imation, Ranger, Sanyo, Pioneer, D-Link, OTO, Osim and many more (these are the few names that I could recall from my memory). They were selling everything from cameras, printers, scanners, LCDs, Plasma, laptops or notebooks, storages medias, handphones, MP3 Players, sound systems, projectors and every other IT stuff that you can think of even massage chairs.

Therefore with so much competition how do you win the customer? By deploying ladies to pull in the customers. These ladies some (or should I say most) are dressed to kill, with heels so high, skirt so short and erm bust so "visible". They push out flyers at every men that walk pass them. Some of course were just wearing normal polo-T. With makeup so thick u can hardly see their real skin. Some are pretty and well have a hot hot body. While other well...are still pleasant looking. Not all the companies have this use this tactic only those that are really big and have really a number of competitors. Other tactics like freebies or slashing of prices are also used. I must also say that these companies also deploy to the ground the IT-savvy ones or those that are the real IT-gurus. So over all it is a dog eat dog world. With who to gain? We the (male) customers.

Sad to say this "Sex Sells" tactic is not used everywhere. Just take a look at any big departmental store cosmetic department. There are so many brands like MAC, Lancome erm....and many more. (not too sure of the names. ) But anyway I never once saw hunky male parading in trunks to pull in the females customers to the booths to buy the perfume or cosmetics. And never have I seen any male apparel store without at least one or two female staff even if them are sell men innerwear. So it seems that Sex really do sell. But if seems only to work if the sales is a female. There have been surveys done that both males and female often prefer to be served by a female staff member. Why is that? Is that sexist but in a different way? Females on the whole are more gentle and are more polite. Mmm.... I too actually PREFER to be served by a female too. what about you? I really do think that overall sales will be better on the female side rather than the male side when all other conditions are the same.

Therefore a little marketing skill I learned today. If you really want good sales get good-looking people to do it. It will be better if they are ladies. Would be the best if they are also dressed to kill.

TVs should have a smell function

I was watching a cooking television programme yesterday at 2 am plus. (Why am I not sleeping at 2 in the morning? Not sure actually.) Anyway the chef on the show seems very skillful. The host kept saying that it smelled very nice. It was some kind of a lobster dish. The chef then added some cooking wine and the pan burst into flames. Oh how I wish the TV had a smell function the we would be able to smell all the food! Even for other products like soap, shampoo or even detergents and of course air fresheners. Mmm....Engineers can you come out with one? I am sure with this smell function the products can reach to the customers even more. Then TV programs which currently only appeal to two senses (our hearing and our vision), will also start to apply to another sense. Our sense of smell.

At last Lee Ang wins Best Director for Brokeback Mountain at the 78th Oscars. His win takes him down in history as the first Asian to win the award. To those who have not watch Brokeback Mountain, you definely should. The movie also won Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score. But the shock came when Best Picture was won by Crash, which i must say is also a good movie. But in my view not as good as Brokeback. Back to Lee, who also made Eat Drink Man Women which I also watched in 04 was also very good. His another work Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon which won Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film (2000), Best Original Score, Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography.

At times when life fails you,

Oh, I spy!!!

Disclamer: The following post may be a bit unsetting to some minors.

Today as I was on board bus number 1**. I saw (or rather spied) on a babe! Very very pretty. Nice features with flowing light golden brown shoulder length slightly wavy hair at the bottom part (Great style. Add points!) and a great figure to boot. She also has golden brown tanned skin that is flawless with just a hit of makeup. (So Sexy. Add points!) "We" got down at the same stop. As "we" walked the same path to the train station I realised that she is a little shorter than me. (Perfect! Add point.) Took the same train and even changed to the same train at the train interchange. During the train ride her Sony Ericsson beeped. (Good hp choice same as me! Add points.)

At last came my stop and what happen? (God bless!) She also alighted at the same stop. Then "we" walked (but not in step with each other, I was a bit behind. Can't possible walk side by side!). I noticed that she was wearing a white pair of havaianas flip-flops that come with heel straps and a light green base. (Excellent fashion choice. Add points!) A roadshow guy stopped her to ask to apply for some kind of card. But she kindly declined him (Add points! So gentle and polite). I walked ahead to queue for mine feeder service. Then (Fate really on mine side.) I saw her walking toward me. "We" then waited for the same feeder service. But sad to say my stop on the feeder service was before hers. Never found out where she went down. How I feel like crying.

She was wearing this army green singlet with the brand name "mango" printed on the front in gold. This is paired up with a light blue jeans shorts. (Super combination! Add point.) With her purple straps showing on her smooth shoulders (A little naugthy. Add points!) On her left wrist she wore a jade green bangle and two black beaded bangles. (So exotic! Add points.) To top the whole look off, she carried a black wallet and carried a dark grey/black waist pouch of the brand "Creek". (Active gal. Add point!)

Did I mentioned that she had silver pink toe nail polish? (A little hit of being girly. I like. Add points.) Was anyone counting? In total she gained 11 points. She pass with flying colours! She in my scoreboard is 9.99 over 10. Removing 0.01 is because I need to keep that for mine future wife (that is if I can get one that is.)

From today on I have decided to take this feeder service more often. In order to increase my chance of seeing her. Oh God please help me!

Go Darker...

Miss J the other day told me that I have become much darker. Therefore today I went swimming in order to get even darker. Bought a new "Speedo" trunks and goggles. So now I am totally "Speedo" including the "Speedo" board shorts that I bought a month ago. But sad to say I do not have the hot bod of all those "Speedo" models have.

The eyes roams on the train,
Dispect the rain.
Bag and arms to cover,
Was it totally over?
Twice it was a flower,
At times it was lower.
Really need a aim.
Else I think I will be maimed.
