A Very Bad Few Days

Lost so many stuff these few day I am very upset with myself!!! So angry... Life is again heading downhill.

Finally Settled Down

I am back in Sydney. Well actually I was back on the 18th Feb, but was too but travelling to Kingford to help my sister check into her Barker Apts to blog. It was a very tiring few days. After checking into SUV we travelled to UNSW to check in then spent a night there before traveling back to the city. At the city we had to go to Coles, Bi-Lo and K-Mart to get all the sutff that she needed to start up. On our way back there was a thunderstorm and we were trapped in the rain. Byt the time we got back to the apt we were soak through. It was more like taking a bath. Well now she has gone back to Barker Apts but due to some unforseen events she will have to come back to SUV again. What a happening few day. Well I am both glad and a bit sad to be back. How should I say it?

7th Day

Today is the 7th day of the Chinese New Year, which we call "Ren Re" or "People's Day" that is to say it is everyone's brithday today. Actually throughout the whole Chinese Year that are so many different festive that sometimes I get lost. I went for a jog in the afternoon but was not able to meet up with my friend cause I had a dinner appt with some relatives. Sad. Well you lose some you gain some, what to do? Dinner was of course not without the "lo hei" that is so traditional with the Chinese here. It is seldom heard of in China, Taiwan or even the heaven for chinese food, Hong Kong. Two more days before I will take the flight back. Three things to do when I am back there. 1) Redo Net 2) Read up 3) Get back.

Who was the One?

Today is V. Day. A day for couples to celebrate their love for one another. For singles like myself, well I hope u can find the someone special. To all the couples Happy V. Day. I just wonder who was the one that came out with this? Is it just a way to lets the shops earn more money? During the day everything that has a heart shape, has to do with love or even in pink or any other lovey dovey stuff will have a rise in price by at least 200%. If the guy does not buy another thing for his other side, well she may not be by his side for long. I once read that this V. Day stuff was actually started to remember the kinship, friendship and of course love between people. But now it has over the years become only to celebrate LOVE between couples. Gone with the wind are kinship and friendship. Truthfully which of your friends or kins want to spend dinner with you when every resturant has a rise in price, that is if they have the time on today meaning to say they are single. They would rather do it some other day when is not so expansive and when every other person you meet on the street is not in pairs with bunches of flowers and heart-shaped balloon in toll. I think no single would like to eat out today unless they can stand the cold stares from all the busking in love couples on the streets not that being single is a sin. Not to forget what if u bump into someone that you know or even worst your ex hugging the new found love. For the forever still single me, Romancing Singapore for now is just another time to left the retails earn more and time for me to stay put at home watching tv and enjoying some instant noodles. That is till I find that someone special, if she is out there.

Fourth Day Of CNY...

Yup!!! Fourth day of the Chinese New Year. I went to the temple to pray for a smooth jounery. Today is also my niece's 1st brithday. I went to her house for teh party. There were a lot of children there. The cake which I help to collect from the cake shop was 2.5 kg. I also walked around JP, what they call 'window shopping' but not 'inside buying' there was also a lot of people. That marks the end of today. Tomorrow is yet another day.

The Second Day

Well, it is the end of the public hoildays. The Chinese New Year actually last for 15 days but here we only have the first two days off. I saw a few relatives, they are all getting better am I am pleased to see them. I have also done it. It was a bit tough but what to do? I have to rite? So I am left with 7 more days before I fly. I think it is time to pack up. I was also let in on a secret today. What it it? How can I tell you when it is a secret, rite?

Last Day of the Monkey Year

Today is the 30th day of the last month of the Monkey Year. From tomorrow onwards it will be the Chicken Year based on the Lunar Calendar. On this day, usually the Chinese will have a renion dinner. Where all the members of the family will gather together for it. On the first day, there will be even more celebrations. Well will see how my day goes and blog again. Here is wishing one and all a Happy Chinese New Year!

Poor Planning

This is a very bad report for a company. I have called them 5 times to replace my card as is it spoited. When the card is swiped at any outlet it cannot be read. I have already given them two whole months to replace the card. But to my dissapointment till now it has not yet been replaced. It is really getting on my nerves. This cannot be good!

How Can It Happen

Unbelieveable! Simple Thing. Yet it is not done. Does not place any importance on this matter at all. I am dissapointed.

Single Boil Or Double Boil?

Yup, I did a double of a can of abalone during the day. It took more then 4 hours to be done. Well before that went to a Old Folks Home to sent some oranges and CNY goodies as gifts for them. The home I must say l;ook very nice and well kept. I am happy the CNY is only 4 days away. Then comes V day on the 14 Feb which I don't like much. Why? Because I am still SINGLE. Nowadays being single seems to be a sin, esp in Feb. Everywhere you go, turn, look or even stand at there will be ads on the big V day. Even the television programs and newspaper is all about couples and love. On the day, if you are single, NEVER go out. You will be like a outcast. Am I the only one that feels this way? What to do no one wants me... Sad... And, on a happier note, on the 17th I will be leaving for another country.

Lost but Found

Today I thought that I lost a book that I felt that was very good. I searched for it high and low. Here, there, everywhere but still could not find it. At last I realised that my sister has borrewed the book. All my effort of looking for the book was wasted but at least I am happ that it is found! Thanks!

Not One Too Many

Went for it. But it was a little down, because too few people were there. Still have fun but, as the saying goes, the more the merrier. Well it was due to lack of the flow of infomation. Hope the next one will be better. Cheers!

Miss One...Now For The Other

The outing was canceled. Well it is still ok. Why? It is because have a great lunch with my family members at **. It was really filling. So full the my sister have stomache. What to say? Weak! Well as CNY is near and near by the second, I did more springcleaning. But this year no "red" for my family. Anyway went swiming again today. I am now more then a tone darker. I think I need to go slower cause I do not want to have skin cancer or age spots now, do I? A BIG NO. Now for tomorrow, should I go? I feel a big "Yes" coming up.
