No more parties

There will be no Countdown parties this year as a respect to the 120, 000 lifes claimed by the great waves.
No fireworks, no laser show. The parties will be converted to some what like a charity events to rise funds for the affected countries.

I went for a very rushed dinner with my aunty today. She call me up like around 6 plus and " requested" me to be there. What to do? Went down for dinner. Tomorrow? Well I will wait to see how is goes but I do not think there will be much celebration mood in the air after what has happen. Lets put this event behind and hope for a better year!

The Day After...

It was really sadding to look at all the pictures and the videos on all the media. All the tear stained faces and all the bodies. 27, 000 and counting. I think we can never know what is the actual figure of the amount of people killed by the great tsunami. With the amount of people reported missing, no doubt the number of casualties will continue to rise. And the grieving families will gradually have to give up hope. A tragedy on such a great scale cause by Mother Nature. Her is the real Master of the World not man.

I? Well went to Orchard to pass to my friend his stuff, then took a little walk. But it was totally marred by the rains as I did not bring any umbrella with me. Now, back home to watch the news again... The numbers keep going up..."depressed"

Toll Rising

The death toll is rising so quickly. Now it stands at 24, 000 people. And will continue to rise in the next few days. 8.9 to 9.0 on the richter scale. Wah!!! The is a huge quake. It is said to be one of the worst in the last 40 years! Why such an event is to occur so near the end of the year? For the past few years I loved the year end cause that is so much to see hoilday cheer like Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year. Not to forget it is also the after exams time and the roads , walkway , buildings are filled will people. BUSTING WITH ACTION. But as I get older things seem to change. I no longer look forward to the year end hoildays anymore. And now such an event is to happen. It really dampens the joyful spirits. Can one really grow out of the hoilday cheer mood? Or have I just lost it on the way here?

Sad to Hear...

This is the seaon to be jolly? Not when there is a 8.9 Earthquake that hit South East Asia. I feel sad. Somethimes you just have to fear Mother Nature. Her power is so strong, with over 2,200 people reported dead. At the lowest point of 2004, that is how I feel.

Came and Gone

X-mas has left and will be back only 265 days later. I do not miss it cause I did not do anything that was much of a enjoyment. in fact the day felt like any other day. Well as expected the answer was a no. So...Erm life have to go on rite? I am still holding on something that I should have returned to one of my friends. Therefore need to meet him. 7 days more to 2005. I should making some resolutions for the new year. Not that I will do them but just for the feeling of having something done. Also well went for a B'day party yesterday. Yup done on christmas day... Some ppl are just just all the luck. Well others well are left with nothing. Happy Belated Birthday to him. Also sudden have a feeling that all is not what it seems. Think I am going nuts!!!
Motto for life? Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

4 days more

Yup... secs, mins and hours drift past and we are closerer to X-mas. Which will be quite a "dead" day for me. Waht happen today? The MAIN EVENT?? Swimming!!! ...Erm I am trying to get a tan...and also to exesice my unfit body. One question left. I am waiting for the answer from a friend I hope it is a yes. The next three days? I think will be like HELL.

Another Day

Another 24 hours gone... Mmm... What did I do ? Well a bit of springcleaning thats all. Wanted to go out but no one was avaliable. So another day spent at home and closer to the X day! Ermmm... what should I do on that day? Any Ideas? I am open to all suggestions.

No Chrismas Cheer...

Yup went to take a walk along Orchard Road tonight. Wah!!! It was full of ppl. Never seen so many ppl since I came back from Sydney. This year deco not that great. Not that special. Downsizing? Well... It is closer and closer to Chrismas, but there seem to be not much cheer around. Have I grown out of it? Not much events planned also. One word..." SIAN "...
